Crossbows do not shoot like rifles
There is the common misconception that crossbows shoot like a rifle. We've all seen the long range trick shots from compound bow and crossbow shooters, but that is exactly what they are, trick shots. The effective and ethical range for a crossbow is at 50 yards or less. While it is neat to see the 100 yard trick shots, they should NEVER be attempted during any live hunting situation. Hunt responsibly. Shoot ethically.
